Nah, after devouring my last bowl of poi and singing Aloha Oe to my one true love, Hokupuawailaniali'ikai, I sacrificed myself to the volcano because my fellow villagers were too attached to their orange Slice drinks to do it themselves. Due to my selflessness, they lived happily ever after in their little grass shacks.

Actually, after a couple weeks of being a non posting bastard, things got hectic at work due to an inmate trying to escape by jumping off the 40 foot high roof. His bones were popping out of his skin and he had to get screws in his spine. Upside is I got a lot of overtime, some of which was spent with the inmate/tv(Easy money!) in the hospital. Your tax dollars at work.

Then my sister's dog took out the net and tv in one fell swoop by chewing the wire. Net is back on for the moment, so I'll try to come up with a reintroduction that's more than one line. Or at least try to try.

If you can come up with something even faintly plausible, go for it. Just try and let us know if things get hectic again.

At least it must be comforting to know that you're not exactly guarding the greatest criminal minds of the US.

Right now I'm leaning towards having the giant bird that killed Deeps' character randomly decide to pick me up and drop me off at the part's current location. Plausible? Maybe not. Convenient? Certainly. I'll decide tomorrow, it's 4:05 am here.

Or maybe your dude recovered and the lizardmen built a catapult to send him to join the others after making a random guess at their location.

Anything involving siege machines, really.

Alright, question before I post:

Balth's trail seems to go roughly in the same direction as the open trail, except somewhat more easternly. Will the party remain on the open trail or will you head into the dense vegetation to follow his trail directly?

Bas would rather follow through the dense vegetation, although he will not try to force the party that way.

Lorath would like to follow the trail somewhat directly, going through the dense vegetation rather than the beaten path, but not directly following the trail.

hmm - a bad hunter follows and a good hunter waits . . .

but much as i like the idea of getting in front the words 'needle' and 'haystack' come to mind - also we have no real idea where he's going and i'd expect him to be elusive and we don't know the ground

Tamora will stay on the tracks

Anne would also prefer to stay on the tracks.

"Aye, that be true." - Captain Barbosa
Best line delivery and expression from Pirates 3 right there. Worst: Keira Knightley's (I don't even care to remember her character's name) pre battle speech. Though I do like how she always bares her teeth like a feral animal when she talks. Maybe it's her lack of lips.

Anyway, I'm going to wait a bit longer for a more opportune moment to reintroduce Ulik. Like dropping on Balth instead of landing now and getting caught in the impending ambush that the party will soon be caught in.
