HAHAHAHAHA, I love it! I'm also at work. In fact, it has almost become a daily routine to come to work say im "checking email" and then sit here typing, while others think I'm replying to emails. I work for a school division, I'm not a teacher though. I help teachers learn technology. HA! great thread!

Of course I'm at work!! If I was at home, I would be playing BGII not reading this excellent forum. Even though I'm the boss, I still keep mt fingers hovering over the Alt Tab keys, as well. I don't want to be too much of a bad influence on the troops.....

I would've given my eye teeth for a game-fanatic teacher rather than the tweed vests I always seemed to draw.

Well I'm in consulting and as long as i deliver the reports on time no one gives a shit what i do at work. We're results oriented! But it's probably why i'm sometimes still in the office or working at home till 3 am. My priorities are all screwed up...no they're not...

Hi all,
I'm at work right now here in Italy (it's 11:47 AM).
I work for a Software Company in the field of Aerospace Application. I should (yes I should) be writing a proposal in response to an ITT (Invitation To Tender) now, but I've decided to stop for a while to do two things:
1 - Access this wonderful board
2 - Download the final patch: when lunchtime comes, I'll install it and try. Yes I have BG2 installed here at work.
(I pray my boss won't catch me; anyway I have to finish my proposal for this afternoon)

He heh I'm at work, but I'm not working

I'm a Sofware Developer and thus have no real job other then to Develop. Development is a strange monster that is as unaware of time as youre boss is of what you do. Needless to say as long as I continue to Develop no one cares what I am doing Often I won't write a line of code for days ! But when I do, you can betcha its going to be small, concise, well thought out and have nothing to do with BG II.

Haha! Nice one Zipper. Argh! People don't even normally bother type my name, so be appreciative they give yours a stab at least I normally get either lengthened to Aspejrxyyxxietenwer or shortened to Asphy, Asph, Asp, Phyxie, Phyllis, Ass-fixiate, The Assman or any combination of the above. Gamer's minds seem to take one-track for most of the time! Not sure what's going on with the bottom thing. Err, I digress!

As soon as that poster mentioned alt-tab, I look down and there are my fingers, hovering slightly above the magic buttons (henceforth referred to as the Technical Professional's Saviour or TPS). I definitely stop by these boards all the time when work's slow- also work for a software company and as long as deadlines are met, we work the hours we want to. Flexible for sure but there are times when I wish for a bit more structure as motivation can dwindle.

Oh, and I have to agree with Armisael - Lora where were you when I was 13/14/15? A gaming female teacher, pretty sure to be the object of many tech-kid school fantasies. Good for you madam!

Happy Thursday (Friday for the Aussies?),
