Ok. guys and gals, How many of you out there love this post so much that you are neglecting your duties at work to read and respond? Or have you ever done it? Make sure you specify between being on break, which is acceptable, and doing what I am doing right now, which is writing up this inquiry instead of what I am supposed to be doing...(and if the boss comes in, I will just hit the minimize button, and continue working, and he will never know the difference!!)

I'm at work right now on the west coast reading the board and responding to your post while I should be working. You're not alone, Larr2. I even got caught yesterday by my boss. He came in while I was looking at the board and said "Chat rooms, huh?". I said, "Yeh, well, it's one about software (little does he know it's CRPG), not kiddie porn like the ones you visit on company time." I'm lucky enough that he laughed. Having a boss your own age can be humbling sometimes and fortunate at other times.

Hi Larry

I know what you mean, great board. i keep checking it while i'm supposed to be working and just keep my hand ready to alt-tab to AutoCAD (am a design engineer), just had to do it then. any way this job needs to be out today.
Bye all

I work outdoors, so I only get to check the boards when I am at home.

Okay, you caught me. I'm a journalist, so nobody cares what I'm doing, just so long as I'm getting some sound out of this keyboard.

Much as I love BG 2 and reading through the posts all of you do, I don't read this while I'm at work because I'm too busy working!! (I could though, since I'm usually alone when I'm in my office.) Now ... ask me if I sneak home EARLY to play BG2 and read your latest posts??? Or if I get up early to play the game & read your most recent quips before I go to work? Of course, the answer is YES!

This board is an interesting mix of people, I must say.

Ya got me. I'm an "online agent" so surfing is allowed when it's slow. My boss sits behind me, but rather far. I don't even bother hiding this site anymore cause I know she only see's black -n- blue. The sad part is I get off work and then I come back here.....

i am a computer teacher and when i have a break in the action i often check the posts. My kids think it's hilarious that their aging female teacher is into games, but what the hell...

Since I work at a retail entertainment store, where the computers are cash registers and inventory machines, I merely use my sick days. I have a chronic case of imaginationitis as well as spurts of fantasyism that compel me to stay home and game, read books, and/or create something(I love 3-D). Whats life without the same amount of fun to balance the work???

I'm at work as well in a patent and trademark law office in Virginia USA. But I've been working here for 11 years, so I can do pretty much what I want (within reason!). I don't usually spend too much time online at work, but last night something happened at the cable company and No Internet for me! They wouldn't even answer the phone to tell me what was going on! Blast it they better have it fixed by the time I get home tonight!! I hate it when that happens!
