(SAD too.) but I won't judge, because there could always be a chance this person is sincere, and that would make me feel really horrid.

well, I am sorry to say, but this is real. Angeldust on another forum of similar purpose died last year from combined trauma and disease. unfortunately, child abuse is a very serious and widespread social illness. the effect is devastating. it is more than temporary, but a life long effect. it is amazing how those people manage to survive and live on.
