NOTE TO G.S. AND AZRAEL

Your guys have the stats for heroes. Are you sure you want them to be heroes? Remember, you are limited to 3 alone unless you have a request to have more than 3. If you do, then PM me.

NOTE TO Ar-Cunin
Do your guy to be a heroe?

As I was mentioning in the other thread... is there an opening for a village cleric, and is there a place where I can set up a smal church? I've been RPGing a Paladin in Ironworks since before the Forum existed - time to settle down and retire, perhaps.

EDIT: Seeing as everyone's posting characters... would village cleric be a guard, or a villager?

Tethis Darkhood
Level 20 Swashbuckler
alignment: Neutral evil
Str: 16
Dex: 18
Con: 15
Int: 16
Wis: 14
Cha: 18
As a native of the Northlands Tethis is tall and fair, at 6'0 with shining blue eyes, a light completion and long blonde hair. He weilds a longsword in his right hand and a short sword in his left. his speed with the blades, makes most think they are enchanted, though they are not. What is enchanted however, are his boots. They function as elven boots of speed, allowing him to move quitely and as if hasted at all times. He also carries a small harp around and can play it with great proficiency. He is currently wearing elven chain mail. and working for Dantes.

OOC: sorry i put this is the wrong thread first time

Village Cleric would depend on your stats. You can make him a heroe if you want, or a guard, or a commoner. Anyways, there is not a church open, but with we do have supplies to build one.

Thought I'd get this show on the road.

SecretMaster-SecretMaster paced back and forth in his study. He was thinking hard. "I've already become mayor of this place, and I promised the people prosperity. But I do not have anyone, except for Dalstur. I've promised a town with great commercial trade. The mines are to dangerous to open, the river has that beast there that prevents us from fishing. How am I supposed to bring this town to fame?" He thought to himself. As he was pacing, he heard a knock on the door.

Dalstur-"Sir, there are several people coming into the village. I'd think you should know this."

SecretMaster-"Really, visitors. How exquisite. I think I'll go great them and-"

Dalstur-"No need for that sir. They are caring large packs."

SecretMaster-"Really! Great. Best news I've heard in a while. Our road to fortune starts here!" And he runs out into the hallway, past the debation room, past his quarters, and into the lobby. He runs out of the Town Hall and looks out.

OOC>This is your entrance guys. You are the people entering, write yourself in.

"This must be it, then... the village of Waterdale!"
A young man surveys the small, cheerful collection of buildings while dumping the enormous haversack slung across his back to the ground. Glad to get rid of his burden, he sits down on the sack, catching his breath.
"Doesn't look like much," whines a heckling voice that seems to come from the glowing sword at his belt.
"That's the thing with places like this... I suppose even Netheril was just a collection of small huts, once, Karnas."
The sword snorts. "Don't bet on it, boy..."
The young man taps his plate-covered knee for a few seconds, breathing in the air of the village. After a while, he notices a group of men, travellers like himself - he assumes from the equally vast packs they carry - moving towards a comparatively impressive town-house. With a click of the teeth, he gets back to his feet and goes to join up with them, dragging his luggage behind him.

The definitive guide to Tancred...

Tancred, Watcher of Helm

Human Paladin of Helm 8/Cleric of Helm 1
Age: 30
Alignment: Lawful Good (Helm’s dictate tends more towards Lawful Neutral, but old habits die hard)

STR: 13 INT: 10
DEX: 11 WIS: 14
CON: 14 CHA: 15

Hitpoints: 71/71

Personality: An even-tempered and reassuring man. The inexperience and impetuousness of his youth have not quite left him, but years of travel have made him into a wiser man... one who gives the impression of being older than he really is. He finds the thought of having a permanent home, regular meals and new clothes that aren’t made of metal rather pleasant, and is hoping Waterdale’s luminaries will give him leave to set up his ministry.

Background: Having wandered across worlds and done many mighty deeds through trial and error, Tancred is most renowned for two things; the first, his many travels within the Bar of Lord Shield, a planehopping tavern of fame; and, second, for his wardship of the soul of the mage Karnas, trapped within a glowing golden sword. Having experienced much in a very short time, weary of walking everywhere, and realising that his own faith has been somewhat tarnished over the years, Tancred has decided to retire from his life as a random righter of wrongs and instead minister to the needs of a community… and the High Watchers of Helm have dispatched him forthwith to the city of Waterdale - a thriving young community, strong in government but lacking perhaps in spiritual guidance. The churches of Bane and Cyric are on the rise, after all…

Karnas the Sword: A sword containing the soul of a diabolical wizard, Karnas retains his evil mind – and, alas, his voice. Guarding this sword has been Tancred’s appointed task for nine years now; definitely more of a curse than a blessing. All the same, Karnas has more or less consistently failed in his long-term goal of corrupting Tancred to the service of Evil… even if he has succeeded time and time again in annoying his bearer beyond endurance.
It is unknown if Karnas has any other magical powers besides glowing and talking. Tancred has never really tried to find out. No-one blames him.

Skills: Heal 9, Persuade 7, Parry 9, Concentration 5

Feats: Divine Grace (CHA bonus to saving throws), Divine Health (immune to disease), Lay on Hands (heals 9 hp), Aura of Courage (immune to fear), Smite Evil (CHA modifier on single attack) Turn Undead (we all know this one), Remove Disease (removes disease... ), Simple, Martial and Exotic Proficiencies, Heavy Armour Proficiencies, Power Attack, Cleave, Weapon Focus: Bastard Sword, Disarm.

Tancred naturally can call upon both Paladin and Cleric spells; he is a Watcher of Helm, and has taken upon himself the domains of Protection and Knowledge... both of which apply to the tenets of the Helmite faith. Amongst his baggage you will find his old plate mail, his new and shiny chainmail hauberk and tabard of Helm, one tapestry depicting Helm’s Eye, one small DIY altar and a book of prayers and ceremonies that he has been industriously leafing through.

His mandate is simply to establish a place of worship; thoughts of a grand cathedral have occurred to him, but he understands the most he can expect is a house to convert - and at the very least, nothing.

You will be my advisor, but you aren't yet. Once we meet, then you will be advisor. Who is gonna play role as advisor, Odin or Daxunyrr, or you could make Daxunyrr fill in for Odin until Odin comes.

IC>
SecretMaster- Ah, greetings Daxunyrr. You say you are a military strategy specialist? Just what we are looking for. Now then, I hope you are very good at it. But why am I asking, you look of the battle. Come, we have a lovely garden on the right of the town hall. My good friend Dalstur will bring us some food, and all three of us will have a nice chat. And if your looking for a job, we are looking for a military advisor." With those words spoken, the two head to the garden.

OOC> This is Dalstur
Dalstur
Gender: Male
Race: Tyrishian
Age(Prime Material Plane Years):24
Hair: Dark Brown
Class: Fighter-Berserker
Job-Commander
Str=19
Dex=13
Con=18
Int=11
Wis=12
Cha=14

Dalstur was a former Warlord, but when he was captured by a group of adventuring heroes, he was sent to our plane. He was then held in confines and forced to fight as a gladiatior in arenas. He was trained and treated well by a very hospitable knight, going by the name of Sir Jorlon of the Radiant Heart. Jorlon eventually risked his life in letting Dalstur be a free man, and he was on the run for awhile since Tyrishians are not aloud to walk free without a master. He handed him over to SecretMaster, and him and SecretMaster became great friends. He was trained by Jorlon to be a fighter and learn human ways, and he now calls for peace between the two planes. Dalstur still has some of his heritage remaining. He uses his own armor and weapons forged by the Tyrishian Warlord Council.

Items-
Avenging Curse (Arliwblade +3)
Warlord PlateMail (Full Plate)
Speed Dagger (Dagger +2)
Warlord Helm (+1 to AC and +1 to all saving throws)
Warlord Boots (+10 frost resistance)
Warlord Gloves (+1 hp regeneration every 10 seconds)
