Low level party on Kangaxx HELP! - Page 2

Here's a somewhat cheesy tip:
Have Yoshi set standard and special traps all near where Kangaax will appear first. He'll be overwhelmed fast, and then you can get going on the demi-lich.

I basically berserked Minsc (when Kangaxx assumed his final form) and let him run rampant with the warblade+4-stand well back though as he tends to go a little psychotic and have trouble distinguishing friend from foe! Minsc took him down first time..he was amped up too with potions of heroism/oil of speed, as well as all the usual spell protections. As a lot of people have said on the thread, protection from undead(even as a scroll) is priceless in this battle. If you dont have the warblade-I think you find it on a quest and you can get it off Bartermann at the Adventurers Mart.
Otherwise Keldorn with the HAvenger is perhaps the way to go.Make sure he has protection from undead/protection from magic and all possible spell protections and boosts.As people have said these are buyable,back him up with Jaheira and her +4 staff.
Another idea is backing up the person weilding the sling of everard+5 with the mana bow +4..Minsc should be able to use this. Summon lots of queebs and let Kangaxx vent his spleen on these guys while you stand back taking potshots.

I think if hes around level 12 he hasnt yet reached the point where he can buy the warblade off ribald.

Thats right, you need to finish the underdark etc. before getting access to all the special stuff.
Hmmmmmm, then the sling+5(Aeire wielding)/Avenger, with Keldorn and Jaheira with the staff+4 might be the way to go. If you do have the mana bow+4-soz I cant remember where I got it-that with Minsc would be an effective combination.
Either way, good luck dude, its a tough task you've set yourself .
