Thanks for the tips. One follow-up question.

If I activate Anomen's "Turn Undead" ability and wade him into a group of undead, can my other players still attack those bad guys?

It's just the cleric who can't be simultaneously attacking and Turning, right?

Thanks,
Ranger

Absolutely. The higher the level of the cleric, the more potent Turn Undead becomes. If you have Anomen (or another good/neutral cleric) in your party all the way thru SoA, you'll be seeing exploding vampires and other undead.

Also, keep the undead-turning cleric close to the front in battle. There is a range to turning-undead. I don't know what it is, but it does exist.

Ego??? I never seemed to notice that Anomen was an arrogant, self-absorbed, egotistical jerk. I must have missed that.

(I'm going to have to try that next time.)

Turning undead is GREAT. Just place the Cleric and Paladin if you have one in the second row, place two tanks on the first row and nothing will get close to harming your mage and theif hanging out in the rear. Mine all the while hitting spell casting undead with their bow/crossbow. ( I have a dual class mage/theif and a bard who make up my third row.)

If you animate dead and bring a couple skelys to the battle and then switch on turn undead, does it affect your own creatures?
