I never use my cleric (Anomen) to turn undead. Is it a useful skill. How does one implement it in battle?

I always used to thimk it made you turn into an undead creature, and from the sound of things, so do you. What it does is, depending on level, either propell the undead away from you, or kill them, if you are evil I think they fight for you, u use it by pressing the skull button on the bar.

It means turn as in repel. It is a pretty good spell but sometimes it will totally deystroy and enemy if you are good and a high level to boot.

I actually found anomen's turn undead skill to be increadibly useful. especially when i went to finish chapter 3 (sorry, trying to avoid a spoiler, but you probably know what i'm talking about) - i would just make anomen invisible, check turn undead, and have him run around the vamps/various other undead. he usually destroyed them (the vamps) after 2 or so rounds and the weaker stuff immediately

It also means turn as in changing their side if you are an evil cleric.

Yeah, Turn Undead (the word turn is perfect, it covers both good and evil meanings...) is the 150mm self-propelled howitzer in the Cleric's arsenal of dirty tricks. Sword? Who needs a sword, when they get within 20 feet and explode in a shower of bone dust?

Aerie''s not bad at it, either. You won't always get the results you want immediately (I went through one evening session where she crunched skeletons, but had trouble affecting anything else), but eventually it will come.

Well its very easy in fact to use Anomen's turn undead... All you have to do is play a big half orc, pick anomen up and smack the undead with him. His overinflated ego, and thick skull should make quick work of those undead baddies. :D

Actually, its quite the handy ability... Its free and fast, and even at low levels you can cause a good deal of undead to Turn and try to get away, and eventually you will be able to just destroy them. Zap! Its fun.

Evil clerics will be able to take control of the undead in their turn range, but I don't like this as much since its rather temporary, and you end up having to wait for the monsters to kill each other, or just hack them to pieces anyway...

Use it with Viconia and you can use them on your side!

I used Anomen's turn undead to beat the Temple Ruins.
