This is a true confession. After playing both BG1 and IWD/HoW/TotL and completeing such I have yet to learn how to use "Turn Undead." So, after I click on the skull on the Cleric tool bar what are the next steps to implement this special ability? Do I walk up to them? What??? Thanks ahead of time and, please, no snickering.

Apparently, from the way I read it is you click on the skull and that is it. If it works, the lesser undead will simply die and the others will run away. That is pretty much it. Granted, if you have a low level Cleric, there is no way you are gonna make a Mummie run from you, maybe a skeleton or two, but that is about it.

If you are succesful in turning undead a little puff of twisting smoke will rise from thier head (hard to explain it) then they will run away. Yes you just turn on the skull, position your clericfairly close to the undead and wait.

So long as you don't attack anyone else it will bwe running, as soon as you do that or open a container or talk to someone it goes away. So just press that button...

Bit of final advice... if you have a script active on your cleric, you'll probably need to turn off scripts or set him to none, else he'll do something and thereby end the undead turning.
