I recall that I was playing that one in bits and pieces over a long time span and between my own awful handwritten notes and not much in the way of an autolog, I made little or slow progress. If there was a printed hints book, I don't think that I ever had a copy. I often found I'd killed the wrong something and would have to dig through floppy copies of old saves to start over (HDD space was still scarce then).

At some point in Cloud City, which I understood to be the 3/4 marker for winning, my hard disk died. I never got around to playing the end portion. Yup, W7 was difficult!
