Playing with less than 6 PC's?

I`m currently playing a party of 2...

Male Dwarf Monk and Female Faerie Ninja
I just reached Arnika , they are both lvl 9.

With this combo I don`t have to worry about armor or weapons...
Buildingm martial arts and Staff&Wand,I`ll use COC and Staff of Doom... should be OK. Stealth is already +70 for both.
They use a fair amount of magic so those skills are going up nice.
With these 2 I`ll have Element shield/Soul shield/Haste and all the cure spells, so I think it will work fine.
I just raised strenght and vitality up to this point... stamina is the limiting factor during fights, so I want to get it as high as possible. If you face multiple enemies the fight can take a lot of rounds. (my ninja has the stamina spell as well, so I only get into trouble if I face huge groups of enemies.)
I`ll probably start putting some pts in dexterity as well.
Since I will have the haste spell, I`m not gonna put pts into speed.

How does the dwarf monk perform? The whole damage resistance thing of the dwarven monk sounds good but my problem is I don't like the dwarf and I don't like monks so I've never tried it..

im using a mook monk and he has turned out quite nicely.
gets lots of ranged damage with the doubleshot sling and spike stones, massive local damamge with the doom spear and is a powerful spellcaster, particularly with haste, healing spells and especially mental magic. ego whip is fun. aorund 14-15th level currently.
