I like the Assassin the most. (see my name [img]tongue.gif[/img] ) He can be deadly against clerics (especailly tactics clerics) with his poison. Poison works against almost everything. And let's not forget the traps or the backstabs, though I rarely backstab due to my style of play. Oh, and IMO, the Assassin is the best thief class for a dual.
