I had just finished the Trademeet quests, so I had the Genie bottle and the Shield of Harmony. I casted Bless on the genie, and made it cast Ghost Armor on itself. I then sent it into the room alone. I went in half a second later, and the genie died

Torgal and the trolls (sounds like a band) surrounded me. I had Frost Reaver and the Shield. They could barely hit me, and Torgal fell in ~6 hits (I think that I had a critical on the second to last). The trolls joined him soon enough. I finished with more than 50% hp.

--I may have been level 10, but I'm 90% sure that I was at 9.

mmm...so, Pyrenk, with right armor and weapon, a 9th level Cavalier can take the standard Torgal and the band out alone~~ how about the imp. Torgal?

Insane:absolutely no.

I've experienced both extremes of Torgal. Can't figure out what I did differently each time though. I know Melf's Minute Meteor's worked wonders.(now that's a mouthfull.) But haste (spell or potion) makes things so much easier. Also if you use your innate abilities for a tank PC DUHM is unbelievable.

I just sent Nalia in, it's her problem so she can deal with it. And she did a good job of it too, killing the umber hulks, trolls and Torgal with just a few spells (including Meteor Swarm, very useful against trolls).

Meteor Swarm? You do know that this is a Level 9 spell do you? Did you do it in Chapter six?
