Lips tremble and muscles twitch, fighting so hard not to burst into an exuberant and gay laughter ~ The world is perfect. ~ The pulse still beating at an irregular and rapid state ~ But I mustn't torment him so... ~ And a blissful smile finally breaks from her taut lip-line. "Yes, Silas." ~ Wondering why her voice is so low, croaky and decidedly unromantic ~ What's this? ~ As a film forms over her glistening brown eyes ~ I... I'm crying! Now what will he think?! ~ Sniffling reluctantly, she wipes across her face hurriedly and repeats her reply. "Yes, I will marry you." |
