Aw, you've broken Timoj's heart with those words.

"Yessir!", Andy nods vigorously. He and Brand had swapped tasks as his hands had started hurting from kneeding the dough.

"Three loaves is three times twentyfive silvers sir. So that's six gold for all of it together sir."

The boy puts three loafs on the counter.
"Would you like to buy them? They're the perfect rye bread, master Timoj says, but Andy and me, we don't really like it because it's too bitter. We had a mug of ale once, and that tasted just like it, and I didn't like it much myself, but I didn't tell Andy, nossir. We drank it all and were sick all the next day. Not that I think the innkeeper sells bad stuff of course sir.
The inn's just down the street, but you can just draw water from the well and that's nice on a warm day too."

Brand comes walking into the store carrying armsful of a lighter bread.

"Master Timoj also bakes different loafs, if you don't like the bitter taste," Andy goes on. "Brand just finished ones that are almost whole meals. What's in it again Bran?"

Brand shoots his friend a baleful stare.
"Peppers and meat," he tells the caravan people.

"Peppers and meat", Andy repeats, ignoring Brands withering look.
"Cures any appetite at just thirty silvers a loaf. And the well's just outside if it's too much for you. We once fed a bit to a rat, not in the bakery, we have no rats here, but he panicked and ran around for a long time before he shot down a hole. That was funny.
So what'll it be?"

Arais leaves the meeting room and walks down the hall to the stiars. He gazes at the pictures on the wall. He then gets to the stairs and is able to look out the window. The landscape is magnificent, and Arias realizes that for this town to succced he can not fial again...

He gets to the third floor and finds the room with the map in it. Hr takes a seat and waits.

*Eruna nods at the mayor and calmly speaks*

Yes sir. I will begin on the wards right away. As well as some other bits and bats which may protect the inhabitants of Waterdale.

*He walks to the side of the room and looks the mayor in the eyes, and gives a slight nod to show he is ready to speak to him in private*

Caravan-"Bread with meat and spices in it. Goodness, what a rare commodity. Heck, it beats eating meat from an inn, here is something different for a change. We will buy 6 loaves of that bread. It will be in good condition for tomorrow, I mean it won't spoil right?"

SecretMaster- He speaks to Eruna. "I saw the battle, and I saw the wolf. Now surely, everyone was confused about it. But I know that we have a lyncanthrope in our town. I saw Lyrah transform, and when I first met her, I suspected it. I have encountered many of these creatures before. Do not worry, I won't tell the town. But it takes a while to control the transformed beast. I do not know if she can control it, but if she can't, I could help you. You see, I know of a stream in the forest. I call it the Stream of the Elves, because the place reminds me of elves. One full cup of that water can only make you somewhat controllable, and that is its full power. If you want, I could get a good friend who is an alchemist to mix that water with some other ingredients, and Lyrah could drink it. But I am curious. How did she transform? I've only seen Lycranthropes transform to a full moon. And do tell me If I am prodding into affairs that do not concern me."

His emotions set him off. Anger and such. I have given him a potion which helps control it, but i fear it is not as potent as it could be. I would be grateful for any help you could give. If we do manage to get this magic academy built, then I will have better facilities to keep him controlled. He really is the reason I came to these parts, as many an exotic plant grow in the woods near here which may help his cure.

SecretMaster- "His emotions set him off? How peculiar. Well, I've heard of this rarely, but that potion would still work. And its all the better reason to set up an academy. Now then, supplies will arrive tomorrow, and construction will be started. Of course, you won't be paying for the entire building. Its supported mostly by our treasury, but I only ask one thing that is slightly reasonable. You must pay me 200gp whenever you come up with the money. Now one more thing. I would like to contribute something to your academy. I have a very nice tome you would like. Its a tome that has the history of magic. It describes the theory of how magic was formed, how it advanced, famous founders of magic, and how magic might change in the future. It is a book of history, written about a century ago, so do take care of it."

Dalstur-Leaving the room, he heads outside to get some fresh air. Looking around, he see's the beauty of morning in the village. The dew was on the grass, flowers were in bloom. It was clearly, a grand day.

I Thankyou. I have orderded some supplies of my own, they should arrive today or tommorow also. Lyrah has already paid for our lodgings, so I can give you some money now.

*Reaching into his pocket he withdrew a fistful of coins and counted in up to 70gp. He handed them over.*

I should have enough money to see me through the week. I Thank you greatly for the tome. I can see a long friendship prospering here.

*Eruna shook his hand and nodded*

If there is EVER anything I can do to help you in anyway, just say, and I will do my best. Now, I will take my leave as I have business to attend to. Namely the wards you asked for and other things. May I ask though, before I leave, where will the Magic academy be built?

*Walking over to the window, the mayor pointed to a clear area*

Ah, thankyou. There are a few things I would like to do on the site, if you don't mind of course

*Leaving the building, Eruna walked to the end of the gate and turned to face it. Lifting his arms up in the air he spoke powerful incantations as a aura began to glow around the building. The spell went on for quite some time, the slivery aura growing stronger and stronger until it last became opaque. Shouting the final word of the spell, there was a bright light and Eruna was blasted back about 5 feet onto the floor. The aura turned totally transparent and all that could be seen of it was the occasional twinkle in the air.*

*Being extremely curious as to what was going on outside, the Mayor ran to the door and looked puzzled*

Thats one ward done for you, and a few extras too. Any 'unfriendly' life forms that pass through this aura will be blinded... hopefully...

*He let out a laugh and walked towards another building down the street*

OOC> The week started Fri, forgot to mention that. From now on, every Fri is payday.
SecretMaster- Realizing what Eruna is doing, he heads back indoors.

"Ehr, I think they'll stay fresh for one day," Andy says. "In fact, I am sure of it. This bread stays fresh for many days, yessir. Six loafs at thirty a piece, and I'll just put the three twentyfivers back on the shelf? The loafs are best when you eat them warm, by the way. We have to bake fresh ones every day, but not because they'd spoil otherwise, of course..."

Exchanging greetings and stopping for short chats on several occasions, Timoj is taking his time getting to the inn. When he eventually arrives he searches for a back door, knowing he'll never see the innkeeper if he were to take the front when he still hadn't introduced himself to the people inside.

"You are the innkeeper?", he asks a suitably keeper-ish looking character. "I have a buisness proposal for you."

Garnet stops just inside the bakery, pausing to savor the smell of the freshly baked breads. Glancing at the bewildered shop-keepers, she nods, "It has been many weeks from the last soft loaf I've had. Trail bread sustains a person, but this...this is ambrosia."

She removes a few gold bits from her waist pouch and places them on the counter, chosing a few loafs at random. "Where might I find the guard commander?"
