She shakes her head, uncertainty clouding her pale face. A single finger traces the edge of the cloak as she finally speaks, her voice tinged with sadness ~ "Will you tell me about it?" ~ She lowers herself onto the ground and sits beside Kala at last.

~She nodded her head slowly, tracing the hem of her own cloak slowly with one finger.~ "Tis an old and rather silly tradition, Ancarak might not have meant anyting by it... But I will tell you regardless." ~She sighed, looking hopefully to her navy cape.~ "I will not bore you with symbolic colors and flowery translations." ~She gazed at Silas' shawl, the green of his eyes.~ "He gave you an emerald underneath the new moon." ~She smiled softly at you.~ "When and if he comes back... He intends to marry you." ~She shrugged, turning back to the pond.~ "Silly old tradition though. I'm sure Damian isn't just hoping to see me in heaven..." ~Her voice broke off and she turned her gaze away.~

Marry. ~ The adrenaline gushing in her veins sends her almost reeling ~ He intends to marry me, then? ~ Childlike wonder in her eyes, she studies the cape again ~ You must come back... ~ Almost angrily, she repeats the silent order ~ You'll come back, or else... ~ Smarting from the sting of bittersweet love, she gazes at the pond once more ~ No... I will not wait, Silas. I'll die first if I have to wait...surely you must know that.

The tint of her eyes once more brightening to a golden hue ~ You may not stand for it, my love, but it doesn't matter. ~ A film forms over her eyes ~ I'll see you one last time... and then... ~ Swallowing a gulp ~ ... I'll die if I have to. ~ She shudders involuntarily ~ Just let it be swift and painless...

Gritting her teeth, she returns her attention to Kala. Her voice forcedly calm ~ "Please tell me where the dark elves are." ~ Her jaws firmly set, she continues ~ "It's no use dissuading me. I'm going."

~She chuckled, a grim tone overcoming her once wise voice.~ "You're very selfish Laurehini... And irrational besides. The kano would shoot you down before you made the camp bulwarks. A fey'ri and a friend you may be, but you are none the less footsteps in the dark." ~She sighed.~ "Besides, win or lose this oversized skirmish will be over within a week. Do you really want to run to the camps and be killed before you see Ancarak only when he would have come home the next day?" ~She shook her head.~ "If you love him as much as you claim then you would bend to his wishes."

~Garet crossed his arms.~ "Fine! Be mean about it you... You witch! I hope the halflings nibble your ankles off!" ~Garet goes to storm out the door, but slams it and looks at you in horror.~ "They're coming!" ~You can hear faintly a mass chanting from outside.~ "Seth will rule all! Tell him a story! Seth will rule all! Tell him a story!" ~You notice a mighty crowd of hobbits with clubs and stuffed coal goblins crowding outside the door.~

Tiama shouted "Get behind the bed!" Garet ran, several haflings charged through "Get the children Tiama Lightningblade and Garet Shadowdagger!" shouted the insane Seth of the esylem. Tiama's face turned red steam came out of her ears,"NOBODY CALLS ME A CHILD!!!" she carged foreward killing 16000 of the haflings (thats 99.9 of the army) soon...

Seth lay on his side bleeding half to death he managed to croak out "S-S-S- Se-Se- Seth w-w-w-w- will r-r-r- rule and under---- undergarmets will...will GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Garet punged his sword through the hafling "Finally 'e shuts the **** up!" Tiama looked stunned "Garet! Ohhh ok thats all right," she looked at him "Will you join me???Its obviously not safe here," dun dun dun!
