Logitech optical USB mouse for me. One great advantage is I have got rid of the mouse-mats that used to clutter up my desk. The only problem I have had was with the stupid software that activated every time you press down on the scroll wheel. Now I have disabled it, everything works fine

mine is a generic optical I got at walmart for $10, it's got 5 buttons, USB support, a spiffy cushion on the mouse itself, and just looks cool. the only problems I had with it were when I was running WinME (oh my foolish younger days) not recognizing the USB port i was using it on, but now that I'm on Win2k I haven't had any problems and all is spiffy in Morgyland
