Well Sri Lanka is a good team, they are probably one of the top 5 cricketing nations in the world. So dont feel too bad if a relatively new team like the Netherlands gets beaten by them.

Scholarcs Srilanka is in the top 5 but if you consult the ratings you'll be amazed to find Pakistan on the top ....... now that is amazing after all they lost their last few series badly and they're still on the top sheesh ! The Aussies and Lankans are 1st in my book but its just me.

Actually, I think most of the Dutch cricketplayers are naturalized from more typical cricket countries like Sri Lanka and India, so it may be a new team, but the origin is the same... Kinda like the hordes of Chinese table-tennis players naturalizing to other nationalities (just check the selections of Belgium, Luxemburg, Denmark, Germany etc) in order to play because the concurrency in their own country is devestating and there's no chance whatsoever to make it to the Chinese national selection.

Hear hear! And above that: I guess Melusine is the member who's the most well known around here, if you were randomly addressing a Dutch one..

LOL Groj! I wouldn't normally point out an error in the use of words in someone's post but I distinctly remember you starting a thread on Pandamonium about using words out of context and confusing people. The word you are looking for is 'naturalising', neutralising means to make something ineffective, incapable or impotent.

I haven't really been myself lately, I'm as sharp as a spoon these days. Blame it on the persistent insomnia. In fact, the dutch word for it is also "naturaliseren", it's a small miracle I even got it wrong. But ask Melusine, I've done weirder degenerations in the past few days... Time to inform about those sleeping pills again.
