Hollywood even did a movie about it "The sky up there" or something like that.
I'm sure you know how much snow Jamaica gets, so you can imagine just how poor they did in a bobsled competition! Gotta give 'em points for trying though.

A Neandrathal cricket team would likely do well if coached properly. Strong yet stupid there would have to be a brain behind the bat so to speak. Anyway good luck Nethereandathals!

Holland is just a developing cricket nation aren't they? Like Kenya and Bangladesh and so on. I wouldn't be too hard on them, it's all experience. Plus Sri Lanka are a good team! I'm concerned about Australia's chances in the semis against them, what with them at home, with Chucker *cough* I mean Murali and all . And Australia's world champs!

On the bright side the holland team did get some comsolation, they hit a six off murali! That's not common

Why do you ask me ? First of all, i live in a country where nobody gives a damn about cricket, so when our squad loses a match, noone cares. And second, i didn't even know we played cricket.

Didn't the Dutch national team play in one of the lower British cricket leagues? As I know there were hardly enough people interested in cricket in our country to set up a league of our own...
The few cricket teams in our country have a bad reputation as well btw, one was even banned from whatever competition we had for making threats and beating up people from other teams. Very nice and all, and *the* indication that cricket is not a sport without violence.
