This makes me very sad.
I have seen some truly horrible, patronising, degrading and yes flamebaiting things said in this forum by people. I think it was ill-advised of Dio to send Ziroc that e-mail, but I also think that had he been pro-war and using the same tone in his posts he would still be here. Same goes for Tracey. After all, I have seen worse from others on the other side of the debate.

I should be a bit more specific perhaps. I found the 'pacifist' joke disgusting and degrading. I do have a sense of humour, but why should suggesting punching someone, anyone, in the face be an acceptable form of humour? I couldn't come into the forum after reading that. I felt that it was incitement to violence against me, personally, because of my views (I'm not a pacifist actually, but the current arguements mean that I come across as one.) I know the argument has happened about this, has been debated, but the thread ran on for 2 pages before being locked. I was deeply insulted by it.

Not true. I am looking at this as neutral as I can. I am going after the most abrasive posters, that's all. It sucks too, because SOMEONE will be offended whatever I do.. I may just shut this forum down today. This is just a waste of time.

I am sorry it ran that long, I have been working over time on just THIS forum, and I can't go through every post.. MEM, where are ya!! heeeellppppp (drowning sound)

I am closing this thread now, this post was meant to let people know of who and why Dio was Banned/Suspended. I know some are upset by this, and understand. But I cannot please everyone. I must maintain SOME type of order here.

Just to remind everyone that thinks I am 'taking sides'--I am not. When I read messages, I am in Webmaster 'mode'. and look at all posts from a distance.
