lol...yeah I've heard no mention either. But as Shamrock said, it is apparently common.
The only flipper-related thing I've seen on the news is the prosthetic tail fin prototype that the Aussies made (I think). |

That's simply amazing. Makes me wonder if there is a special kind of connection between humans and dolphins. I mean, is there any other species that dolphins will come to the rescue for? Maybe we have something that the dolphins sense. A kinship, a commonality, or maybe a certain human frequency that they respond well to. **shrugs** Just amazing. I'm wondering if orcas would do the same.
