Well, apparently this is common, but I've never heard anything like it before so I'm pretty impressed. Plus those people who take destruction of natural habitat as a given during economic development might be encouraged to change their views. I can dream

Why haven't I seen this all over the news? This is the kind of story Fox loves to show on commercials when I'm trying to watch Seinfeld.

Great story! Thanks!

Good ol' flipper and his team saved the day.

lol...yeah I've heard no mention either. But as Shamrock said, it is apparently common.

The only flipper-related thing I've seen on the news is the prosthetic tail fin prototype that the Aussies made (I think).

That's simply amazing. Makes me wonder if there is a special kind of connection between humans and dolphins. I mean, is there any other species that dolphins will come to the rescue for? Maybe we have something that the dolphins sense. A kinship, a commonality, or maybe a certain human frequency that they respond well to. **shrugs** Just amazing. I'm wondering if orcas would do the same.
