Yeah, I don't know how you feel but much of the world is quite different in someways from the Americans.

There is no proof that Bush lied about WoMD. He may have rather stupidly believed intelligence reports from intelligence sources who were inept, but I don't believe he lied.
There isn't any complete proof that he did, but I very much suspect that he did or exaggerated by saying that they were an "imminent threat". I even had my doubts about the claim on WoMD even before the war. I've never trusted Bush and I've reason not to. He isn't an honest guy and has lied in the past. Who knows in years from now if they find classified documents to prove that the Bush administration lied about WMD.
Who cares about WoMD. WOMD is an extremely selfish motivator. Self self self. America has WOMD. For me, it was never about WOMD.
Uh yes it does matter. Like Donut said WOMD was the reason for going into , and since none have been found that makes me believe that either Bush lied or the intelligence is extremly crappy. Yes Saddam was an evil man and it would have been much better if Bush had just said that Saddam needed to be removed from power instead of lying or exaggerating about WoMD.

Post proof or retract.

I repeat, I assert most of the world couldn't give a shit. A minority of people able to read English, and more concerned with global politics rather than getting out of poverty would have some feelings about Bush. Considering 80% of the world is in some way "below the poverty line" that's a heck of a lot of indifference.

But if you have proof of your assertions post away, otherwise speak for yourself, instead of speaking for the entire world.

Oh I'd say Candada is really similar to America. It contains people like you who are ignorant about much of the rest of the world.

America has much in common with any Englsih speaking country, compared to a Mandarin speaking country for example.

How much have you gotten out of North America Gab?

I was about to post the exact same message to you Gab, but my words would have been alot less kind than those of my Christian counterpart here. Cheers for disarming a potential suspension for me Yorick

Gab, get out of the habit of claiming to speak for everyone else. It lends absolutely no weight to your argument and tends to piss your would-be representees (who have by no means selected YOU as their spokesperson) off. You have no idea what individuals of other parts of the world believe, all you have are quick-hash news bulletins designed to manipulate YOUR opinions. So, learn when it is prudent to keep that big ol' 'Gab' of yours shut.
Try following the world press from time to time Yorick - you'll be hard pressed to find more than a couple of papers that are willing to praise Bush without heavy criticism at the same time.

Tell me Yorick, when you went to Saudia Arabia, what were you actually doing in the country that you claim to know so much about? I'm interested.

I never said that we're damned if we do!

So would I.

Oh I do, rest assured of that.

And how is this indicative of "the man in the street". Papers are sensationalist, focus on negativity and division, and misrepresent truth to fit the agenda of DOLLARS. I notice the much lauded BBC is in disarray, as is the much lauded New York Times. The fairest paper I've read of late has been the London Times, but even this is not above individuals bias and the lure of the almighty dollar/pound/yen.
Fair enough but would you prefer if it was regarding the US instead of just Bush? I well know that much of the world is below the poverty line and what makes you think I'm ignorrant?!
