Am I the only one or is aoe 3 one of the most disappointing games to tarnish the pc it just doesnt live up to the almost legendary status of the previous age of empires games!!!! i was thrilled when I first got it - i have been a fan of the series for a very long time then i got it home and found that it didnt have the spark of its predecessors!!

AoE3 sucked greasy golf balls, if you ask me.
But it's a nice story to go through once, and then forget about it.

Yeah, i wasn't too impressed with AoE3 either. I've gotten hold of the addon just the other day, but i'm not thinking it's gonna be a revolutionary improvement, but that doesnt mean i'm not going to give it a shot.

AoE2 was one of the better RTS games I've played. I hardly get a chance to play it anymore, but when I did it was always the Teutons for me. There's just something about an army of moving walls that kicks ass.
AoE3, on the other hand, I only read about. Wasn't impressed/encouraged by the gameplay changes, so that was a pass. |
