Welcome to the Morrowind IW Forum Cherwyn! From what I understand you can load Tribuanal from any stage of the game and it will definately add to your experience.

Unfortunately couldnt tell you how off the bat as i dont know the configurations, if you were a customer id say bring your machine in and ill have it for you by tommorow
It's a weird problem, I've been tweaking for a couple of hours and haven't managed to sort the problem. Changing the resolution from 1240x960 to 640x400 has very little effect at all, as does turning pixel shading off, the degree of antialiasing (only with the maximum setting, 4xS, is there any noticeable drop) and view distance.I did have problems with the latest detonator drivers, so I'm using the next newest one, but this shouldn't effect it too much should it?

2.4 GHz P4
512MB RAM
GF4 4600ti 128MB ram
80GB 7200rpm HDD
etc...

I think it may be something to do with the sound, as my sound card is on the motherboard. I had a problem with UT2003 where if I turned on 3d sound (hardware or software) my fps dropped by about 30, but was fine otherwise. As I can't find an option to turn off 3d sound in Morrowind I guess I'm stuck with it.

There's definitely an option to disable hardware sound. Check the audio section of the options screen. BTW - disabling hardware audio makes little if any difference. 5.1 sound will still work under software mode if you have it.

Yes it is your sound card I had the same problem that you are having I ended up buying the Creative SoundBlaster Audigy XGamer Sound Card and disabled the one built into the Pent 4 motherBoard and no more problem but before I got the new card I just turned down the acceleration and that reduced the problem about 90% I have an ATI radion 8500 3D accelerator right now but there is a ATI 9700 PRO sitting under the Christmas tree and by 10:00 AM Christmas day that sucker will be in.

if you put a sound card in and have onboard sound remember to disable the onboard in the bios always, otherwise it can pick up on occasion (though it shouldnt) also i found some lax companies when building machines leave the onboard on even with what should be a usurping sound card, bios is normally on the first screen press f1, f2 or del , but if you got like compaq then could be f8, f9, f10 and u gotta spam it till it goes in, will give you a load of menus, if you press something by mistake and you dont know what you did then click quit without saving and come back in, no point risking it as bios can do damage, find a menu with an option along the lines of "onboard devices", or onboard sound if its feeling userfriendly then just flick it from enabled to disabled then save and quit.
