Skye gave Cal an amused grin, looking him up and down. "Too young, eh? You look older than me, if even only by a little bit. But you know us rowdy half-elves, we have no taste and all that." she winked roguishly, then waved the bartender over. "Sorry about the previous commotion," she appologized, giving him some money in compensation, then ordering another drink. "Please give me the bill for whatever drinks these other folk order, I'd appreciate it." Once he had bustled off, she stretched and sighed contentedly. "It's not like I chose to be who I am, but I can't really change it. I never knew my parents, since they both chose to ignore the whole "incident," so I pretty much raised myself. It's what matters on the inside in the end, right?" she gave a slightly sad smile, violet eyes looking off into the distance.

Alliene crinkled her nose at Calaethis's dry humor and shook her head,

"Very well, only one. Seeing as youre not used to it, it might just desensatize you for awhile, which would be a plus at the moment," she pushed a silvery strand of hair out of her face and directed her eyes at Skye, "I appreciate you buying the drinks," it wasn't like Alliene was pinched for gold-she giggled at the thought, "We will only be here a short while. I have been challenged by some upstart drow, and I do not intend to have them find me passed out in my bed," she took a satisfying gulp of her ale.

Calaethis smiled sardonicly at his cousin; "I doubt very much that one drink will place me on the ground cousin..." he ordered an elven wine from the barkeep, at least he hoped they had them in stock. He smiled slightly and nodded as the barkeep served him his wine. He sipped it delicatly, and waited for the others to converse, he thanked both his cousin and the half elf, and wasnt lightheaded at all.

Dameon orders the bigeest thing of ale that they have. the bar keep brings dameon a mug that he has to carry with both of his hands. Dameon smiles with glee as he sees the foamy brew filled to the brim. Putting the mug in the air "Iam glad that i can toss some back with you." with that he puts the mug to his lips and drinks in all in one breath. "That is almost as good as mine. Not as robust or full bodied but still good none the less. My hats off to you barkeep. To you also Alliene for not judging me becuase iam not from around here."

Calaethis shook his head in wry amusement, 'so much for keeping a low profile' he thought, then grinning impishly, he raised his glass to his cousin and saluted her with it saying "To your health dear cousin, and to yours also" he said nodding to Skye.

"oh yeah thanks for picking up the tab next time we go out i will treat you." Dameon all of a sudden gets a serious look on his face. Fire seem to be erupting in his green orbs as dameon looks over Allienes shoulder he sees a drow come stolling over towards the table with a dagger drawn. "Alliene look out" Dameon shouts as he pulls his sword out of the forearm sheath.

Alliene sprang off her stool, drawing Nizzre and Vilraquath as she did. The stunned drow hastily tried to flail his dagger. Unfortunatley for the drow, Alliene knocked him over and sat on his stomach, pressing both bristling swords into his neck,

"You cheating scum! A day you fools said, and it has hardly been an hour! Do not be so eager to dispose of me and take Natha, I am not a helpless babe who can't defend herself," she knocked the dagger out of his hand, her eyes glinting like cold steel, "Go tell those arachnid worshipping trash that they will see me in a day. The next assassin like you they send will be returned piece by piece! Now get out of my sight!" she stood quickly and booted him in the rear as he lifted himself up.

Calaethis looked startled, and went back to sipping his drink. He half winked at Skye, and impishly offered his cousin her tankard back. Then he bowed slightly, and said "Your drink my lady". He smiled at her glare and said "Calm down cousin dearest, enjoy your drink."

The daggers Alliene glared at Calaethis could have pierced the strongest steel. Her had been going bad, now it was worse. The glass handle of her cup cracked in her hand, and the barkeep calmly brought her another, made of wood. She closed her eyes and let her drow ire build up. A day, one day to make those drow sorry. Shaking her head, she finished her ale and let the barkeep refill it with a mild amber. Too much to do, to worry about. Her firnds and family. She twirled a piece of her bangs absently and sighed, though she was still stiff with anger.
