Captive-chapter 3- Dark confessions...

OK, we're up to chapter 3 already! Before we continue, I'd like to say, keep the OOCs restricted to ur IC posts plz, thats half the reason why we fill up a thread so fast.

Now, lets get up to date on our story. We have the 2 parties, our main one consisting of:
Alliene, Dameon, Calaethis, Kaltia, and Natha; though Natha is currently on his own for awhile.

The main party is currently camped at a small lake on their way to Alliene's under-water kingdom and the city at its shore. A family dispute between Calaethis and Alliene is in effect, mainly over his naivety on her drow blood and the fact that he is disregarding her teachings. Also a tad over the half-drow half-human Kaltia

After seeing Alliene behead an annyoing human would-be-assassin, Natha stomped off with a bear into the woods (reeeallly intelligent Binky

)

I will not make a seperate thread for our party of Geldorn, Skye, and Aeris, since they are trying to find our party.

So lets begin Chapter 3- Dark Confessions...

Why? Why was this happening to her? Why has she been unable to control her drowish violence. She lifted a hand and ran her fingers slowly through her wafting hair and sighed, a flourish of bubbles exiting out her nose. Calethis had no right to blame her for anything. He didn't understand the fact that her drow heritage was constantly fighting to take her over. She shook her head and stroked up to the surface, pulling herself out. As she walked around to their camp she saw Calaethis kneeling, his head bowed in some sort of prayer. She snorted and shook her head, continuing to their camp. She passed heedlessly by Kaltia and went over to Zachana, who was in her miniature form at the time, and picked her up, holding her close.

Dameon walks up cautiously to Alliene. Running a hand through his blonde hair. "Iam sorry that i kicked you so hard. i guess i got caught up in the moment. I mean you did hit me in the knee and did some other stuff, but know that i did pull my kick. I am not exactly sure what would happen if i hit you will all of my strength. I just came here to apologize. If you ever want to spar again all you have to do is ask."

Kaltia saw Alliene pass and half rose to follow, then relised perhaps that wasn't such a good idea. With a sigh, she bundled her sleeping bag (OOC-Okay, so my panther DIDNT eat it after all [img]tongue.gif[/img] ) into a travel bag and went to find Calaethis.

After a while, Calaethis got up from his self reflection, he no longer felt depressed but was in a strange sort of mood, almost as if his actions over the past hour had happened to someone else, he felt removed. He no longer blamed Alliene or himself or anyone else. Oddly enough he felt at peace. He rose, walked over to the lake and in concealment, knelt and washed his face. Halfway he paused, and wondered what the future held in store for him. He shrugged. He didn't particually relish the fact of meeting with the others. He sighed. Still it had to be done. After bathing his face, he calmly and quietly walked over to where the camp was and halted on the perimeter. He leaned agasint a tree, and waited for his cousin to notice, and come over to him.

Briefly he saw Kat and hid, he wasn't really in the mood to talk with her, until he and Alliene had "made up"...

Shevarash began to pad over to Cal, but at a gesture, Calaethis told the wolf, by projecting thoughts/feelings by his mind, to find Kat, and go to her. The wolf obeyed...

After realising he had hid, and well, Kaltia frowned. She stood in the center of a clearing, attempting to track him, but realised elves hardly ever left footprints. Even Callistia, with her fine sense of tracking, lost his trail after a few feet.
So he was avoiding her. She felt hurt again. He's probably sniffing around Alliene, waiting for her forgiveness like a good boy. she thought petulantly. She controls him, really. I was stupid for thinking I stood a hope. Kicking a rock acoss the clearing, she sulked.

Shevarash padded up to Kaltia, and looked into her eyes, with his own golden ones, forming the words "Not now, not good" Kat wondered how the wolf could project such thoughts, and felt another going in her direction "Don't worry, I still love you, but.. I must speak with her" She decided it must be animal empathy, and wondered why Cal would use this method, almost grinning the wolf thought to her "In case you're wondering why I'm talking to you like this, its so that Alliene doesn't hear or find out... being a mage, she won't be able to use animal empathy.." ***OOC Will you LB? you'd better not! :@ [img]tongue.gif[/img] *cough* back to the post***

Shev jumped up and licked Kats cheek, and nussled her with his mussle...

Kaltia laughed and pulled the wolf over, giggling and drying her wet cheek on his fur. She could feel Callistia slip away to locate Calthy for the same reason.

The wolf pulled himself off Kat when he saw the panther skulking away, and snarled at it, Shev ran over to the panther and bared his teeth, growling deeply, the hackles on his neck rising. Calaethis felt his wolfs distress and thought though him to Kat "NO! Dont disturb me! Not now! Later! PLEASE!"

Hearing a growl from a wolf Dameon imediatly goes on the alert. He pulls out his blades and runs to where the noise is coming from. When he gets to a clearing he sees Kalita there with Cals wolf and her panther. Dameon putting his blades back into there sheaths. "Oh its only you, i thought that maybe someone was in trouble. Don't worry about this little argument. Iam sure that they both mean well, but family runs deep. I don't think that they will let this destroy who they are and the people they care about. I will leave you to your solitarity." Dameon turns to go back towards the encampment.
