Skye put her elven mead down and sighed. She wasnt sure why exactly she had come to this city, but her bardic intuition told her to go in this direction. She thought back to the paladin and shook her head. Supposedly something else of more importance had come up, so he had left her there. She stretched tiredly and out of the corner of her eye caught some guys looking lecherously at her. 'Oh, please, spare me,' she thought with distaste. 'Last I want is some icky man trying things he oughtn't do.'
One of the men sauntered up to her, the stench of alcohol billowing around him. "Hey theres cutie, hows bout a kiss," he slurred, as Skye wrinkled her nose. "I think I'll pass for now, thanks," she said politely, trying not to gagg. "Come on, halfling slut, who elses gonna wants the likes of youse?" He laughed loudly, his friends snickering behind him. She stared down at her drink calmly. "I would suggest finding another 'slut' before you find my sword stuck in an unpleasant place," she said suggestively. The drunk drew himself up angrily. "You threatening me, elven trash?!" he roared. Skye sighed, then pushed her chair back some and looked up at him, violet eyes flashing dangerously. "Maybe I am," she smirked.
'This'll prove to be interesting...' she thought, as she watched the drunk comprehend what she just said.

OOC- ok, in the city. ^^; i tell ya, excercise and coffee dont mix for me.. o.O;;
BTW- Cal, that was kind of what I intended..

Alliene picked what had been in her memory as a pretty decent bar. She signaled to her friends and pushed through the door, breathing in a wonderful smell of fine ale and wine. However, there was some taint in this pleasantness, causing her to wrinkle her nose in disgust. Her searching eyes located the smell-a half-elf; no wonder. A drunkard seemed to be trying to rile her up, and she looked to be rising to his bait. Although she didn't overly approve of half-elves, she didn't like any elf being harassed my a human of any kind. Pulling Luthol out of its place behind her back, she poked the drunkard with its sharp tip (Luthol is the name of her spear if u don't remember),

"Excuse me, you petty excuse for a civilized being. I suggest you leave this elf alone, her kind is too good for the likes of a human welp such as yourself," the man turned to her, his reddened eyes widening. She knew how drowishly fierce she must look with all her chain on, but maybe it was for the best. She narrowed her eyes and drew her lips into a thin line, hoping the fool made the wise decision.

Calaethis stood behind his cousin, and shrugged slightly. If she chose to intervine, that was her buisness. He looked at Dameon and made a drinking gesture..

*He stared at the man calmly and nodded towards his seat. The man backed down and sat with his ale muttering something under his breath. Natha turned to the man behind the bar and gave an apologetic look. Then he looked at the elf in the chair*

Alliene growled and twirled her spear in her fingers before dropping it back in the small sheath on her back. She recognized this elf too, supposedly she was going to set him free back in the woods before, Alliene snatched him away. She shook her head anyway,

"I do hope that human wasn't giving you too much trouble," she winked at the bartender's thankful nod; they were old friends, "I'll have my usual, Kruthan," she was handed a large mug of drowish ale that she had specially ordered. It was really the only thing of the drow she enjoyed. She sat down and closed her eyes, trying to relax. This whole thing about flaming drow after Natha was so absurd. Well, they'd learn their lessons soon enough.

Calaethis walked over to his cousin, and sat by her side. He looked at her pleadingly, "just one?" he asked quietly.

***OOC, lol, just WHAT are you implying LB? lol, I take an ICT course at college, well a computing one; that gives me access to a pc with the net whenever I'm there, so I'll admit, it gives me a certain advantage [img]tongue.gif[/img] *

Skye blinked in slight surprise, recognizing the others as the people she had met before. Remembering the drow's distaste for tainted blood, she smiled wryly. "Thanks for, uh, "rescuing" me from that drunkard. Perhaps, if you will allow me, I could buy you all each a drink?" she asked, downing the rest of hers.

Calaethis smilied wryly, "I'd like that only... my dear cousin seems to have a thing about me drinking, or as the case maybe, not drinking. She seems to think I'm too young." Calaethis rolled his eyes impishly and grinned. "Thank you for the offer though," he smiled slightly; "Lets just see what Alliene says shall we?" he winked at her, and looked pleadingly at his cousin, whom he hoped was looking at him in toleratent amusement.
