Calaethis grumbled "Drow are supposed to be rare... I don't think I've ever seen so many on the surface... except perhaps for raiding parties... but thats different... what I want to know is why the other surfacers have attacked them on site..." Then he grinned "Dance? Why Dameon, I thought you'd never ask..." he grinned harder "But I'm afriad that upon our world, the males don't dance with other males, they only dance with females, ...so" he said drawing the word out, "I'm afraid that I'll have to decline your offer and allow Allience to dance in place of me." He grinned cheekily, then he drew his blade, and muttered "I'm not sure if 'allow' is the right word... Ali does what she likes..." He stepped behind his cousin, so he wouldn't get in her way when there was a fight...

"Natha, stay back there, we don't want you to be stolen from us," with a quick move she flipped Nizzre out of its sheath and cut the hood of the drow in the doorway. The face revealed under the cut hood wasn't anyone she recognized, fortunatley. Seeing as her dragon was gone, she might have to resort to magic, if this character of a drow could fight worth anything. She sent a warning glance at Dameon as she stepped past him; this was not time to fight. She put Nizzre away and crossed her arms over her chest, straing hard at the drow,

"You had better have a damn good reason for blasting down the door, or the sun take you, I will flay you here and now," her silver eyes shone like sharp steel yet her composer was cool. She had never been afraid of a fight in her whole life, and would gladly welcome one if this drow wanted it.

Calaethis seeing the glint and light in his cousin's eyes, stepped back even futher. Right now his cousin was exceedingly dangerous.

"i have come for Natha, halfling. I offer him a choice, he can either come willingly or by force but either way he will come. Why i want him is none of your buisness, just know WE want him. Do you really think a halfling like yourself is powerful enough to challange a blade master and a priestess in the highest favor of Lloth. I will give you one day to decided Natha, but konw this you will come." with that the drow diassapears into the night.

Dameon looks at Cal and just shakes his head, muttering the words ignorant, child, doesn't konw a thing, probably going to mess up my sword."well what are we going to do now alliene. I don't know what a priestess is but i sure do know what a blade master is. If it comes down to a fight can you take this priestess person. I know i can take this blade master.

Alliene turned around slowly, her face deadly passive,

"Halfling?" her face was turning dark "They dare...." she took her spear from her back and stabbed it visciously into the wooden floor, "Highest favor of Lloth are they?" she released the spear and started pacing rapidly, "A blademaster and a priestess. Hmph, fools. Obviously they have never faught me," she began to mutter to herself, "Ah, priestesses have always been weak..." she racked her brain for all the spells she had memorized and chuckled, "Both of them will be dead so fast. Elemental summoning...hmm, Time Stop, greater whirlwind, Planar summoning, stoneskin of course...greater haste, chain lightning..." she smirked to herself. What fools these drow were. Throw in some greater dispelling and spell thrust during the Time Stop and they would be helpless. She turned around and grabbed Natha from the bathroom.

"Natha, I do not know what you did to anger these drow so much, but I will not let them take you anywhere," her eyes flashed and she smiled a fierce smile.

Calaethis glared daggers at Dameon, but said nothing. Firstly, if there was a fight, the last thing he wanted was to get in his cousin's way, secondly it wasn't a good idea to get in her way when she was in that mood. He didnt expect D to understand though. Instead, he just stood at his cousin's side, slightly behind.

In typical, 'Calaethisness' he heard D's remark, reversed the blade, and gave it back to Dameon by the hilt. Then he drew his bow and replied "Ifs thats how you feel, take your sword back, *I* certainly wouldn't want to dishonour it." he said with heavy sarcasim.

"Will you two shut it!" she snapped in annoyance. She paced some more, cursing in drow, before reaching into her small pouch, pulling out a night black stone. She mutteres a spell at it and it expanded into a fairly large chest,

"Why did those damn Lloth worshippers have to come while I'm at sea?" she pulled out thin smokey gray long-sleeved shirt, followed by a piece of shimmery chain armour-adamantine (or however its spelled [img]tongue.gif[/img] ), and matching breeches, gloves, and boots. She turned her back heedlessly on the men and quickly untied her red shells, letting them drop to the ground. Hastily pulling on her small shirt. then her breeches,

"This dishonour will not go unanswered, that is for certain," she said as she pulled on her gloves and shoved her feet into her boots, and buckling her black leather belt; swords attached. There was no mistaking her drow heritage now, seeing as she was dressed like one. She quickly swept her hair into a loose bun and turned around to face the men,

"Come on then, a couple of young fools like themselves won't stop me from getting a drink," she walked out the door.

Kaltia awoke from what had been either a long sleep or a short nap; there seemed no way of telling time in this dull plain cell. Whatever length her sleep had been it had been one of unease and discomfort, nightmares of her mother's mutilated body still flashing in front of her eyes even now. Shaking her head to clear away the sleepiness she stode slowly.

There were voices outside her door. Another human and the one who had come in before, situated outside as doorguards.

"So let me get this straight. They want this drow, natha." the new human man said.
"Aye, that be right." the first responded in a dull, bored tone.
"And they're gonna hold a huge ceremony, sacrifice a few good dragons, the usual to...."
"ever 'eard of summat called "Zin carla?"" Asked the first human.
"Nope."
"basically they raise a silver dragon from the dead, turn it into a draco-lich under the control of Matron Yzun'sa, and send it after this natha."

Kaltia's breath caught in her throat as she realised the extent of the evil her own half-race was capable of. A silver dragon! Such a perversion of nature was...wrong!
