1/Having a Magical resistance of 117% does this mean I am immune to all magic
except those stated like lower resistance and imprisonment and time stop. 2/Also Cloudkill is supposed to deal out poison damage. How come my poison immune character still suffers damage? 3/What is the best weapon for a monk? |

1. There seems to still be a chance of failure. Game probably isn't programmed for resistances that high.
2. Cloud kill is more than just poison and is magical too, not a naturally occuring poison. 3. Probably celestial fury if they can use it. Can they use Crom Fayr? When you're at a high level carry that in your off hand so you have strength 25 and just punch them with your main hand. ------------------ Just when you thought it was safe to visit this board. |

Nah...monks can only use one handed thief weapons.
My monk has 114% MR by being level 23 and a cloak of Baduran and Kaligan's Amulet. It's natural! |

You'd be too tough if you were immune to most spells though so it won't let you be. You should be right with Celestial. Stun things then palm of death them.

the way i understand it is that if a mage is higher lvl than u, its -3% resistance for every level. but if ur a higher lvl than caster, u gain 2% resistance vs his spells.

Sephiroth: That's only for some spells.
As for MR, not all spells are affect by MR. Some go only for saves, some are checcked by modified MR, some don't check a all. Having an MR over a hundred should make yu immune to virtually all spells though. If not, it's probably a bug. BTW, what are your saving throws? |
