Aec’Letec would be a balor, as is Belhifet (AFAIK). Errtu, Drizzt’s foe, is also a balor. Balors are greater tanar’ri.

Individual balors are obviously unique – but there is more than one balor. There are only one of each type of Abyssal Lord.

Cornugons are greater baatezu, like amnizu, gelugons and pit fiends.

Pit fiends are the greatest of all the non-unique fiends though, greater even than balors and marilith tanar’ri.

Maybe their smarter and more cunning but if you make your save against poison and fear then they look significantly weaker then a balor.

What about pit fiends gating in one greater baatezu (that's another pit fiend, a cornugon, or a gelugon) once per ROUND. Plus the six physical attacks. I haven't even mentioned all the innates. You better have good dice rolls for your saves because you'll be making a lot of them.

yep caleb i dont think u truly realise the power of these pit fiends. These are some major demons! If you read the post about the solars the pit fiends seem to be the equivelnt of them which makes them god dam powerful buggers. and dont argue with memnoch, he knows his shit!..lol
