I'm using FlameStryke's mod 4d and I just completed the training in the cave's. I was told to go back and see Balbrak, but when I got to the elevator to the first floor the door's are not open. I haven't found any way to open them. Any advice other than using the Humpawumper to get around this?

It didn't do this to me the first time but the second time it did.
You either have to touch them or run up to them, I forget which but they do open. |

On the way to Balbrak, there is a machine standing in the middle of a cavern. Use your access card on it. You will then have to fix the machine and use your card again. This will open the doors to where Sarge is waiting.
