Now that I've finished my first game (and started my second the same night) I just have a few questions...

What levels are the different retro-dungeons, and are they worth it? I didn't do any of them for the first game.

Since I blew up the t'rang, the alliance didn't go through and stuff...is there another real point to the away camp? I got pissed at the king and just killed him....I also got a king's cave key and couldn't find anything for it-was I just blind?

Great, great game!

ive only done the first retro dungeon, the graveyard one...
was around 10th to 11th level, and lacking somewhat in the magical department so they were challenging but not impossible. good EXP boost, but no memorable items to speak of

there's a link around, you could find it through the search, with maps to these, i think they include descriptions regarding level and drops. I do know i found spellbooks in one or two of the retros that i haven't seen listed anywhere as findable spellbooks, that's just my memory, cause i like multi-bishop parties...

About allience.
You can choose destory ship of Tlang or Umpani or Dark savant ship.
If you choose destroy Savant ship, you can make new allience of Tlang and Umpani. To destroy savant ship, you must go to Rapax away camp, and kill all Rapax, then rescue prisoners of Tlang and Umpani. This choice has been made you a lot of experience point about 165oooo.
Rescue Tilang 200000exp. rescue Umpani 200000exp. meet Zant 400000exp. meet Yamir 400000exp. destroy Savant ship 400000exp.and Heli 50000exp.

Click here to view the maps for the Retro Dungeons, and if you click on a map, you'll get detailed instructions on how to activate access to the selected dungeon.

Click here for Mage_77's current list of where spell books can be bought and found.

Enjoy!

You won't see them on Ascension Peak. It has been said that it's one of the "left out" parts of the game. It's just you against the Rapax

It's also been suggested that they got there early and were defeated - among the corpses you can check may be something on one hinting somewhat in that direction.
