I just began playing this game and I love it. I have a ninja in my party but she is unable to use the Cane of Corpus I stole from the Don. Is there a reason for this? Does my ninja have to be of a certain race? If I have to restart with another race, is there any guarantee the cane will be with the Don again?

Only faerie ninjas can use the CoC. And most of the time the Don drops it on dying but sometimes he doesn't so you'll want to save just before fighting him in case of bad luck that particular fight.

He drops the CoC 8 in 10 tries if you wanted to put number's to it. Anyways if your not playing in "Ironman mode" just save before you kill him that way if he doesnt have it you can re-load & kill him again until he does have it.

hey if u dont want to restart train ur ninja in sword
and give him the light sword u can get off the bucanner ghosts in bayjin

My game must be cursed. I never got a light sword and the rat didn't drop the CoC. Didn't know they existed until I started reading the boards late in the game (had to get a few hints to get through areas like Rapax castle ... that place made me dizzy)
