Can I use DungeonCraft to run and/or upgrade my old Gold Box Games such as Pool of Radiance. To make them run better on xp/2000 or to add new graphics to them? If I could I would really like to to make them run smoother on modern systems.

Sorry, but no. You could remake the Gold Box games with new graphics, etc. but that is a long and laborious task. DC can import mods from the Forgotten Realms Unlimited Adventures game engine.

I am doing a "remake" of Champions of Krynn which is, I estimate, about 40% finished. Virtually all the events are done, monsters and combats are being worked on at the moment and art is about 10% done. Whether I will ever finish it or not is unknown at this stage (I work very slowly as I have a busy life), but if I ever give up on it I will make available what I have completed to that point.

Though, not actually a gold box game, my main project has been a salute to the gold box games set in the Savage Frontier region of the Forgotten Realms. I'm using many of the maps from those games as a starting place for the cities in my module. I'll also throw in a lot of the events from the old games as history and background. There are many planned cameos from NPC's, etc.
I don't know how much I've got done...certainly not near as much as Steve does. But, I've spent countless hours making maps for Silverymoon, Yartar, Neverwinter, and a bunch of other places that I can't remember off the top of my head. I think there are going to be about 20 cities in all. I might even add some of Waterdeep as I have some interest in adapting Undermountain to DC.
I'm pretty sure that I will never finish this project. But, as it is a labor of love, I will keep chipping away at it. I'd thought about releasing a version without events, just so people could have the maps...maybe this summer or fall...maybe someone wants to help me on this project?
