I was just wondering...what are the uses of gems? do they serve a purpose in the game??

* * * * * * * * * Well.... I haven't experienced it myself yet but apparently some of the more expensive gems can be used to upgrade items in the Throne of Bhaal expansion. In SoA the only use that I can think of is for a Rogue Stone... It lets you into a special area in the Bridge district. |

Only a couple are useful in SoA. More are useful in ToB, but in SoA, sell them all except one rogue stone, one diamond and one beljuril. They're just treasure, sell them [img]smile.gif[/img]

. . . . . . . . . . . . . Buy a gem back and keep the gems for some time if you are unsure. You'll need some of the gems you find. Someone told me that these gems are needed in ToB. 6 Star Saphires 2 Rogue Stones 1 Diamond 1 Emerald 1 Ruby 2 Kings Tears |

Rogue Stone is tricky.. But before you go "out" and use it, it would be good to know the strength of your party. Not like I am hiding something or so
