I like things like mustard jellies. They're really easy and you get two thousand experience points a go

Anything Hard.

Abazigal(TOB) with the Improved Abazigal MOD on Insane difficulty whilst going solo with a bard is a good example (It might be impossible but think of the bragging rights you will earn if you succeed, ohhh the glory of it).

Fighting rival adventuring groups always gives me the best buzz. Especially when they have a similar setup to yourself (tank/ mage/ priest/ thief/ druid/ etc). They normally take me a couple of reloads, to work out what sequence of spells to throw, and who to buff before the fight. IMHO, the rush you get for beating a bunch of guys of a similar level to you is much better than outthinking a single opponent.

Plus, they'll be guaranteed to have a bit of decent gear on them!

Bards become *VERY* powerful in ToB. With a combination of spells, powerful items (via Use Any Item) and Spike Traps, I wouldn't be surprised.

Now, a solo bard taking down Firkraak might be tough, but once he has Carsomyr and Use Any Item, the game isn't so bad.

I like dragons and parties of multiple foes, especially spellcasters. The Drow city was fun because of this.

What I'd really like is to fight a dragon in the midst of some interesting terrain which I could use to my advantage.

I liked facing shanglar, it was quite a trip even though I slaughtered the mage and beholder on skull traps and glyphs of warding. Cheap trick makes a fight alil simpler, but still shanglar still has a soft spot in the heal of my boot.

The Fighter *dead* via greater malison/ finger of death combo

Shanglar and the vamp were felled via minsc and his improved insanity skill (berserker rage). once they were finished the lil' @##$@%@$$ went after my party. grrr... lol I escaped before he could do come4 real damage.

Also all of the dragons were equally fun.

All the classes can become Powerful in TOB but I still think it would be extremly hard with a bard(or any class in that case). As I said before Use the Improved Abazigal mod in insane difficulty. The Mod puts you up against Abazigal, A purple dragon about 6 baby dragons plus the drakes who are always with him. All of these(Apart from Abazigal start hostile, so there is no chance of setting any traps). And as for having use any Item so you can wield carsomyr, it wouldn't be that effective in the hands of a bard(max 1 Proficency in 2-handed swords) Thieves THAC0 you would have a have a hard time hitting(Please correct me If I got any of the bards details wrong). Dont get me wrong i am not calling bard a bad character, but in my opinion the bard is just an over glorified Fighter/Mage/Thief - has the skills of all three classes but doesn't really excel in any of them. but this is only my opinion.
