Best 2 weapon type

What's your favourite two weapons? Me, as primary I like great sword! as second (to use with shield) longsword. Because longswords are more ofen and more powerful than bastard ones. Plus, bastard swords require exotic feat. What about yours?

and holy avenger is a great sword or longsword?

This, of course, would depend on the character class. I mean, I'm sure I'd just LOVE my wizard to be running around with a TWH sword... [img]smile.gif[/img]

Fighters - Longsword & shield.
Paladins - Longsword & shield.
Rangers - Longsword & sheild OR two-bladed sword OR scimitar & hammer OR scimitar and short-sword.

Cleric - Scimitar & shield.
Druid - Scimitar & shield.

Thief - Short swords (dual)

Bard - Halberd, Rapier

Sorcerer - Grimjaw... [img]smile.gif[/img] staff
Wizard - Grimjaw... [img]smile.gif[/img] Summonded creature, staff

My favourite is - Fighter with Greatsword. Who needs the sad shield and little longsword

More AC is nice, but when you don't get hit, or have good Parry, it isn't an issue [img]smile.gif[/img] Add to it Improved Disarm - greatsword user as a big weapon user has a bonus against, for example, longsword user here (longsword user has a penalty) and without a weapon, that opponent isn't much of a threat anyway. But that's my preference, I like big weapons.

Half-Elven thief with a katana and short-sword. BTW, dont you get a penalty with a katana and rapier?

dual wielding 2 desertwind +2 scimitars always worked for me (the potential to do an extra 10 fire damage with each weapon every hit was cool), and you can get up to 7 attacks per round if you use the right equipment and feats.

My fav weapon class though has to be the scythe.

Yes, since the rapier is a medium weapon, you will recieve -4 on your attack rolls when using this combo.
