Hrmm, I just read this and i cant find it, do u need tosc to get it or is it on the original?

I believe some versions of the game dont have it... like the hidden ring of protection in map below FAI

yeh the ring is corrected with the patch and with TotSC.

my TotSC most definitely still has the ring of protection south of FAI. i just got it again last night, and TotSC is installed and running fine.

The same here:

BG1 => Ring found
BG1 + TotSC + latest official TotSC patch => ring found
BG1 + TotSC + latest official TotSC patch + DSotSC + Harder => ring found
