I feel that at this point, the senate should clarfiy that the kobold is not, in any way, viewed as a race of civilised beings. They are animals* and as such have the rights to be eaten and to have their numbers kept in check. In no way is this comparable to the way many Calimshade visitors and immigrants are subjected to crude remarks and bias.

* It has been noticed the kobolds resemble a cross between dogs, rats, lizards and, from their occasional attempts at speech and bipedal walk, parrots. If not an animal, they are demons (as they have already been classified by some), or merely animals possessed by daemons*'.

*' Why any daemon would possess a kobold-animal is beyond our experts' wildest guesses.

Those are wise words Legolas. Lets not turn the discussion to whether we can kill/eat human like beings.

Kobolds are evil according to the Gods (they might be demons or possessed by birth (not likely - who wants to possess a kobold?)).

Kobolds are breeding like rats and have a short lifespan (There are even rumours that say that in some areas they are created instantly). This is not a good basis for high intelligence for a race.

Both the pubs, the female and the male kobolds are attacking everyone at sight. Until now, no one have seen a kobold city or other kind of societies (there has been rumours about an attempt of building up an artificial society for kobolds though, but it seems that the experiment went wrong).

We need to keep the amount of kobolds down to a minimum to keep the Sword Coast a safe place to live. When killing the kobolds, we might as well use their carcasses for something usable (ex. food).

Tan the hides, use the bows and arrows that you take from them, use the hides as furs and I haven't even said anything about food

we better get killing quick then. Anyway im about to become a bloody quintesson in a minute. Why did my reign as Emerald Dragon have to be so short! :cries: they should have made emerald dragon 300 posts instead of 100 when quintesson came out, then it would have only been 300 posts instead of 500!

Well, Zuvio, the kobold, while not characteristically good tasting, is a cheap source of meat product that the peasantry can afford and therefore gain a more balanced diet. Think about it. Kobold reproduce rapidly so there will never be a shortage.

Aight... Although I'm in favorite of adding some spices to make it at little more bearable.... Some grinded Xvart bones mayhap? Or is this considered expanding your borders a bridge too far?!

I dont think it is. I think that would be very tasty if we killed all of them we could go and take over there little villages and live in them. Or we could use those for POKW (prisoners of kobold war) camps where the kobolds have to live and do some useful things

Ross you are in danger of crossing the line. The senate must decide whether or not Xvart's are a civilization or wildlife. They appear to be civilized. They speak common, and have organized village structures, unlike kobolds who are trained to utilize crude tools to little effect. Kobolds also lack the ability to vocalize. They have been classified as food, but Xvart's are still in debate. By all means, feel free to defend yourself in the event of a hostile situation, but do not actively hunt Xvarts for food unless they are classified as such.
