Stupid Toads

Thanx for your help guys, but still no good.

If I have attacked Ekbu, Shinwiki or any other toads, will they still talk to me or do I need to start again.

For what it's worth, Toad Village is not a required quest for the main storyline, so skipping it won't hurt the game. It's by far the buggiest area, which is sad, because it's one of the most interesting ones. But with the "blocking toads" and Ekbu not always hearing "Ukabu", it's sometimes just not worth it.

At least, it's not worth starting over if you've already completed the Crypt. If you're just starting out, you can reset adventures and try again (and also get higher-level characters that way!)

I hear you on the Toad Village. Those toads stuck in the walkways really annoy you. That and the room that has troughs, a toad and a bunch of crates/barrels in that, even blowing him away I *still* cannot get into it....

However, I've found that before going near the huts themselves from being in the water I save first. Then I go directly to the ladder and up, get pretty close to Ekbu and say Ukabu. (Being one who likes to map everything/have the map filled in, I was swimming around the huts once and while in the water Ekbu shouted to kill warm skins... even saying Ukabu did nothing so I had to reload)

As for toads in the walkway, I've learn now, especially for the "Evil" at the Toadem, to have Elemental Blast.... that takes care of the obstinate toad.
