First things First . . Isnt Faux Pas that cross dressing dance play thingy ??

My sort of stupid thing was jumping off my horse at the Booger caves (not knowing what they were) Saved. jumped in and realized I didnt want to go here before the stout mines. No real reason, just a preference. I reloaded and ran to town, went and did the Stout mines. And then the Spire. A week later. I remembered the Boogre caves and decided to go back and try them again. I run up to the caves and a big brown figure is standing there. That horse still hasent forgiven me.

I want to be able lead my horse . . . how many times have I dismounted to fight. Scooped up my treasure started exploring, had my heart stop at the sight of a large brown figure that turns out to be the wonderhorse that seats six. Like I could REALLY forget where I put her. At least give me one of those dog whistles, so I can find her. Also I am killing off my two extra characters, I keep leaving stuff with them at the inn or bringing the wrong one on a quest. It is six from here on out.

I never could bear the horse, the whole (as someone else mentioned) equestrian head bob just distrubed me too much. Plus, I could never stop thinking... "How can this one horse carry 1000+ pounds of flesh without breaking a sweat? (I had three oomphaz in the party).. so I left him to swivel ambiguously amongst the bodies of the fallen rogues.

So after doing every other known quest from Valeia to Ishad N'ha I arrive at the Serpent Temple, plough through all of those bad dudes and clean the place out. But I get stuck opening the big snake statue to get at the naga. Tried everything!

The prisoner in the torture chamber just keeps telling me to @#*% off.

Hmmmmm. Reluctantly I check this board and eventually find the answer, incense, nectar, wand and book - in that order. But I feel cheated 'cos I think 'How on earth could any one possibly figure that out?'

It never occurred to me that you could use that red hot poker on the prisoner but I stumbled across a message on the board saying it would work. I tried that later, during my second game, hehe, quite enjoyed it. (Worrying, do I have latent S&M tendencies here?)

Then I look again at the map. Just next to Valeia is something called 'Ruins of Bersault'. Well, been there, done that. It's where Bilbump gave me the rat pie, innit?

I look again. There's another ruined building nearer the crypt, that's where I met Bilbump! So with a feeling of dread I head back to the 'Ruins', sure enough the thief guys there tell me all about H'thark and give me the lockpicks for him. I return to the temple and give them to him and he spills the beans about the statue. Boy do i feel dumb.

It's that map - I just know there was only one ruin on it when I first looked, I'm telling there was one, only one, there was, there really was (rage, snarl, froth at mouth, chew at carpet).

It HAS to be getting my boat stuck in the sand while talking to the pirate. I'm not sure if this is a bug or done to make the players crazy, but whatever the reason, it really screwed up my game.

well made a new bo bo last night. Found my way through the dragonspire got the mavin went to the edge of the cliff looked out checked the map. Hmm if I jump of here I will still be is Ishad so spent 2 hrs checking everywhere in the spire looking for the exit. Went back to the ledge and thought I wonder how far this goes. Why look it goes all the way down to the path to Brimloch.

Now even my Barbarian looks intelligent to me.

Samurai . . . spent so much time in the moat I missed that graveyard. So after mapping everything west of Ishad N'ha (while insisting I could do it myself), I came on bended knee to the forum and humbling begged assistance (mom, dad, can I borrow $100). Thanx guys I now have four happy samurai wishing Buffy was with them at the castle.

Another one: When I first found the raft after Valeia I eagerly jumped aboard. I had a great time exploring the water areas for an hour or two, mapping away. When I got to where I wanted to get off (cave) I couldn't figure it out. I tried everything to escape the cursed raft except...you need to point at the raft to get off!?@#$ I reloaded and never used the raft.

Heh, just a variation of the previous but this is what happened to a friend:

He found a horse, mounted it and enjoyed the ride. When he wanted to get off of it he clicked on the ground and what not - to no avail! After many vain attempts he finally decided to kill the horse - et voila!
