I heard that if you have the patch installed it won't be there, and neither are the pearl + ankheg armor in Nashkel. If so then that could be the problem.
Anyone know if this is true? BTW Just hopped on in from the BG2/general discussions ![]() ------------------ Melusine ![]() Your voice is ambrosia |

True for me re the patch and the gear nr the Inn, u/k about teh ankheg armour as I haven't been there for a while. Seems likely though. Try looking at teh base of the 2nd pine tree as per the location description and see if your cursor changes. Alt, you could save your char to another directory and re-install unpatched if you HAVE to have the gear. Can't say that any of the items you may miss ever made the diff btwn an easy fight and a tough one...

Ive always got the ring, and i have installed TotSC and the patch...
I dont know the exact location, but it is in the southest part of the map, to the left, near a tree. Well, Ive started a game to look for the coordenates, and i found the ring, but i dont know how to show the coords, so try doing this to get the ring: - Enter the map (you will appear in the south part). - Go to the east as close to the edge as you can until you see a dark green tree with 2 rocks next to it. - Search for it very slowly, it is in a little zone without grass between the tree and the rocks. LUCK !! ------------------ ![]() |
