Mages have to be lvl 18 to be able to cast their 9th level spells so Mordy's out. I'll use Cernd to summon some elementals and hope they will keep them busy.

Btw, yes, chaotic commands is the one.

But Mordy's sword is a level 7 spell, not a level 9 spell.

Greater Malison and Doom atack with each other, but neither spell stacks with itself. Also, both spells can be stopped by Magic Resistance (I'm pretty sure).

Spells like Chromatic Orb and Feeblemind can work wonders, and at much greater range than Quivering Palm can.

Who gives a damn about Draconis's Summons?!? Oooo, an Invisible Stalker, now there's a threat.

Hmmmm...
But if you ARE roleplaying...
And if you are NOT roleplaying an carrot brained half-orc warrior (which you are not it seems).
Wouldnīt it then be in your realistic best intrests to play it as safe as you can?

Actually, i think roleplaying (in most cases) more like encourages the use of cheap tricks (tricks that still donīt involve AI abuses or anything such).

Certainly.

What iīm saying, is that only a braindead paladin or a brainless orc will go about a dungeon looking for a CHALLENGE.
(Well, ok, so you mgiht add a monk there if you so wish :/ )

So anyway. Letīs say you and your pals are stuck in a beholder lair. A few of your friends are wizards, and a few others are fighters.
Now what will you do?
Risk death with a straight forward honorable charge at the creatures, or fireball 'em from the relative safety of distance and continue by hiding until the creatures again settle into "fireballable" groups?

Or, letīs say youīve got an cheesy item for a decent price available.
The GAMER, who is only out for a challenge, might skip it in favor of a challenge, but a roleplayer?
Hmm, methinks he should jump at the opportunity!

Or maybe we can discuss casting... Whatīs it called? resist magic or somesuch?
Well, anyway, casting an friendly magic resisting spell on a dragon (in effect, lowers the dragons MR without turning it hostile); a gamer maybe sees no justification for using such an cheap trick, while an inventive roleplayer will easily come up with a long list of possibilities that justify such action.

^^

EDIT: And thanks for the welcome BTW, though it isnīt maybe necessary, iīve merely forgotten both the name and the password for my old account here.
Not to say i ever was an all that active member but still.

I got lucky with Ogremoch in my last game. He cast some kind of horrible spell that made the whole screen shake for about twenty seconds and dropped Haer'Dalis instantly. It must have been Earthquake, because a Greater Earth Elemental appeared and started beating on Ogremoch. It was so weird to see a Prince of Earth tussling with one of his minions. I wish I had taken a screenshot.

P.S. I absolutely freaked the first time I saw Draconis go invisible. "How the hell do you lose a 30-foot-tall dragon?!"
