Well, I defeated the dragon outside, got inside, killed those few guys, but I don't know what to do now. All doors are locked, and I know you are suppose to swim in those pools. I have the empty breath potion flask, but I don't know where to "fill it up". Info on how to do this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Kelsoph

Hi Kelsoph, welcome to IW
Go to the furthest pool, you'll find you can 'use' it to swim down in, where you'll find somewhere to fill up the flask. Then you'll need a rope, just try all the pools until you find another one you can swim down. Hope this helps

Since Kelsoph hasnt got that far yet, ill answer it. as soon as i can remember how i killed him....
first - the green dragon outside Abazigals lair can be removed by readinng a Scroll of Reversal, which you get from the eye guy (never can remember his name) who gives you the quest to get the gauth eyestalk, which you get the petrified adventurers to do for you). To kill abazigal himself... I suppose something in here could be taken for a spoiler, be warned. first summon a mordkainen's sword to distract abazigal. it will cuause no damage and take no damage - perfect for distraction duty. then hunt the perimiter of the lair and remove the frost salamanders -nothing like getting wing-buffeted into a group of bad guys to ruin your day. then remove your party from vision range with abazigal and pocket plane to rest. alter your spellsets - this guy is either immune to or is healed by electrical damage - he is a blue dragon after all. you want to take fire damage spells - id guess cold woudnt be too good against him either. this is based on his affinity for frost salamanders more than anything else. time stop works well, so take one of them and an improved alacrity to go with it. *save* cant stress that part enough! when you get back, you wont have much time. raise some swords to distract abazigal again, and then put the standard enhancements and protections on your party. read every lightning protection scroll you have - all your tanks should have more than 100 electric resistance - then he heals you with his breath. you dont want to use your tanks in combat of course, but you do want to be prepared if it becomes neccesary, and there are very few alternate uses for these scrolls anyway. use your main tank and kill the human form of abazigal. now your in trouble. pause the game as soon as abazigal changes form -the swords will be blown out of vision range and you can still see them for a fraction of a second after this happens. send them back into the fray, not to do damage but to absorb his attacks. while hes fighting them - and you will need to replace them soon - use your mages and throw a barrage of aganazaars scorcers, flame arrows, lower resistance, pierce magic, breach etc. your tanks now proceede to run away, cause the next bit is deadly. improved alacrity, time stop, dragon breath, comet, ADHW, Fireball, any area effect you can get off. (if your really good you can time another mage to start a second timestop before all these spells hit home, but thats tricky and unreliable). if you get it right he will have less than 0 MR, and be at Near Death (or dead, which is better). he will now cast Heal (and if he gets it off will be back to Uninjured). it is not easy to distrupt the spells of a dragon, so the heavy area efects are the way to go here. another comet, dragon breath. ADHW, and it should be over. should you fail and abazigal heal himself, then move in your tanks and start praying, because your mages will be unable to repeat this tactic. Thats the basics of what i did, i might have thrown a few different spells, but you should be able to beat him like this. now Improved Abazigal, thats another story.
