If you played as a mage then the potion of speed is no better than a haste spell. A mage can only have one attack per round, and haste will give you one more attack per round. Now if you're a figter or you're dual weilding, the potion is better.

i have already started the game without bonus merchants. if i add the patch/mod/thing that puts them there will they appear in my currant game or do i have to start new?
