I'm in the middle of Chapter 2 and I just freed Garren's child and for some reason, all the menu options on the left-side of the screen have disappeared. I'm talking about the 'Map' icon, the 'Journal' icon, the 'Character' icons, etc but most importantly, the 'Options' icon----------I can't save the game. I just want to know if there are hotkeys for 'Save' and 'Quit' and/or is there a way that I can get these icons back?

Please help!

"O" will give you the Options screen, "I" is Inventory, "M" is map, "J" is journal, and "R" will let you look at your character. Do you see a very small triangle pointing upward close to where the left bar was down at the bottom? If you do, then click on it - it should restore the bar.

Actually, hitting the 'H' key will cycle thru the various parts of the interfae that you can hide or unhide.

H hides and unhides everything, not anything individually. If the left panel is hidden, hitting H will hide the other two, and hidden H again will unhide the bottom and the right. Which isn't any help when you want to unhide the left panel.

I thought that it cycled through all of the various panels that can be hidden. I'll have to go off and check this out. I've never really been much on hiding the panels anyways.

h does the trick, but when you pause with the space bar, it should bring up the interface buttons again

If you look on the bottom left of the screen there is an orange coloured gem, and if you click on that, it will bring the menus back up.
