The easiest way to do it is with ShadowKeeper.

Though i wouldnt recommend it, it's cheating, and after u get the Flail of Ages via cheating, u`ll get the taste of it and do it again, and spoil all the fun IMHO. But don't mind me, this is just an opinion, its your game and you should play it how you want to...

resist the temptation, but if you really want the FoA I'd get it using shadowkeeper, but if you can live without just carry on

It's not that black and white here. It would be cheating to CLUA in the Flail of Ages at the beginning of the Keep to make it easier, but you're circumventing a flaw in the game, here...

You did get the stronghold, right? Or is this a problem with a Roenal not letting you back in?

U can get back in the keep, through the entrance in the back, if it is still there or the Roenalls closed that as well, but it still wouldnt be there, cause after u save the Keep and talk to Nalia, they clean the Keep (the map restarts) and all the items, equipment, things u didnt pick up are gone and you cant get them back in this game(that is if u don't cheat)...

Half right. If you are NOT a fighter, monk, or barbarian - that is, if you do NOT own the keep yourself now - you can still get back in, and get the rest of the flail. If you DO own the keep, it's possible to CLUA to the old area and get what you missed - this is prerable to cheating in the FOA because it doesn't encourage you to cheat other items in (which is the easiest trap to fall into).

PS: Moon-Child_Lman, can you learn to type words like 'you' in full? It doesn't take very much longer (two keystrokes, oh wow what a big saving ), and it makes your message quite a bit easier to read. Also, it could be an idea for you to try writing in better flowing sentences (ie, don't put everything into one big sentence with a few commas), since it makes your meaning ALOT clearer.

hmm, well the last thing I want to do is cheat. I completed the quest and the keep is now my stronghold. The route I took through the keep meant that I only collected 1 piece of the flail before I completed the quest. The other parts are now not findable. If this is the way it should be because of the route luck made me take then that is fine. If it is a bug then maybe not fine. I'm not really bothered either way but the debate as to whether adding the other two pieces constitutes cheating is interesting.

i think the map restarts because in the keep you may find a door which is "broken"
when you have cleared all the trolls and you go back in (either owning the keep or not) the door is fixed, so its a new area i think
