Heh Illumina Drathiran'ar...
no offence but dwarven fighter specialiazed in Axes is pure powerplay..
That way you use all the advantages of this race..so for me it's just a powerplay..
playing halfling WS or halfling paladin(in IWD2) for example.. is more like it
i'm new in the forum but don't think that i'm trying to offend you..
peace!

Sancho, if you hang around these forums long enough, Illumina WILL find a way to scold you in such a manner as makes her feel superior to you. No one has EVER played the game right,,,but her. Read her signature... she lives up to it with a vengeance!! It's not because you are from Bulgaria, she treats all humans with equal disdain. I keep asking myself,,,"Why didn't the Valar make ALL the Elves leave?"

I dont intend to argue with anyone couse most people understand "power-role play" different.

PS:does the fact that i'm from Bulgaria irritate you. I bet you dont even know where Bulgaria is.

Good point on the power role play, but IIRC nearly every standard character is power play equipped unless you handicap him (her) someway. With the possible exception of a druid. It’s just a matter of equipping them correctly and choosing the right proficiencies.

And secondly I'm sure even North Americans know where Bulgaria is (ish) I'm also sure you are not the only one on this Forum who is from there. Making friends on this board may be easier if you don’t assume that people are geographically challenged

I refuse to take the bait, though. If you paid attention to my posts you'd know I don't want to scold or offend anyone, and in fact go out of my way to *not* sound condescending.
If either of you interpreted it as such, then I am sorry.

I'm not starting an arguement here, but I think Illumina is right. Equiping a dwarf with an axe is more roleplaying because that is the weapon that is connected with them.

I do know where Bulgaria is. What irritates me is that I tried to defend you from the resident Elf Sorceress..........and was scorned. May your fate be as you deserve.

Well then,, you are sorry. Every time I have seen you post a game aid to a newbie you have ALWAYS said "I don't mean to be condescending, but...". And then tell us how to do it better, and remind us that we are scums not to have figured it out. This post may require deleting,,, but it won't be by me.

No need to get touchy. It was 'friendly' advice. There is no right way to play the game, either. Just drop the subject.
