starting bgII from the start ... again

ok im gonna play trough it all again as usual i played all fighter and ranger classes, paladin,cleric,thief ( all classes except assassin ) bard ( all except skald ) Wizard, sorceres .. what else... ah barbarian what else O_o i think i played everything except Druid is it worth playing trough it again with a druid? are they good or do they just suck?

If A) You have ToB, and B) You can stand the wait for them to hit Level 15, then no, they don't suck. You might consider such options as a Fighter/Druid, or a Totemic Druid->Fighter.

Their equipment sucks, though, at least compared to what Clerics can use. You have to be a Fighter/Druid in order to get decent Saving Throws, and all of the good Druid weapons are 2-handed, so there goes using a Shield--but then again, Druids can only use Bucklers, and there aren't any in the game, so it's not like you were tempted to go the Shield route anyway. This game just has something against Druids--maybe it's forcing you to think like a Druid: Depend on your own skills and the call of Nature, rather than placing your faith in your armor and weapons.

There are bucklers in the game. There's one in chateau de irenicus in fact. Or maybe I'm being anal and you meant there aren't any good bucklers in the game, which is absolutely true.

I think they meant magical bucklers. the best buckler is a +1, i believe. rogue re-balancing fixes this, somewhat

why not try a mod such as bgt and start from bg1 with any bg2 class you want?
Or since your experienced why not try a solo or something?

personally i dont think its overpowered EXCEPT casting of spells. thats about it (well 90% of that fact) and changing werewolf how many times per day but the programmers cannot seem to modify it. if you try and restrain yourself with changing werewolf all the time and play it is fun. also try playing in underdark with your werewolf. solo is near damn impossible because your not allowed to shapeshift (because of an not fixable error).

greater wereberes (well that is also abit overpowered but hey, what kind of animal summoning is there available for a druid since all of the rest suck?)
