**Morrowind** Where to sell the good stuff?

Greetings to all! First post here. I've been playing Morrowind for a couple of weeks now and haven't seen anywhere near the whole world. I'm currently in Vivec and have killed a couple of the Daedra Lords. Question is: Where can I sell the weapon drops of theirs? I made my way to Ebonheart and then over to Mournhold, where I could get "half-way" decent prices from some of the vendors there. I just don't want to have to make the trek way over there just so I can find a vendor that offers more than 200 gold total...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Well, in Caldera you can find Creeper in the second floor of Gorak Manor, and on some Island near Bal Fel there is a talking mudcrab.
I think Creeper has like 5-10k and the Crab has 100k, maybe. Been awhile so I'm not sure. Besides I usually get a mod to give Creeper 100M gold. Caldera's a better location than some obscure Island.

Also welcome to Ironworks, the new and improved.

Enjoy your stay, and don't pee on the carpet or anything strange like that. I like a little fun now and again, but that would be just plain weird.

Only Mods I'm running on the game here in Iraq are:

Better Bodies
Better Heads
Flock of Seagulls
Weathered Sign Posts
Fair Magika Regen

Not sure what mod to install so that I can get decent economical returns on my stuff. In Mournhold a couple of the vendors have as much as 15K, but I've gotten a Daedric Bastard Sword (80K value), a Daedric Long Sword (48K value), a Daedric Short Sword (40K value), and a Daedric Dagger (38K value). I know that the values are greatly decreased by the merchants (even with mercantile buffs and charm taking personality score to 100), but I was wondering if I had to go all the way back to Mournhold just to get decent prices again...

I'll have to look for the crab. Thanks for the info!

I got the richscamp mod from PlanetMorrowind under the tweaks section I believe.
Pretty sure you have to be a registered user of any of the planet sites or gamespy or something like that.

If you choose to stick to the crab best to put a mark spell there and then don't cast it anywhere else unless you have to.

I like the scamp cuz I don't have to Mark it, I just use Mage guild travel.

2nd thought it might have been listed under cheats, cuz it does give a trader 100,000,000 drakes, and this trader will buy anything and everything from you at face value, in addition you can push the price up some and make even more. A couple daedric weapons and you're set for life.

I used the Creeper mod to give him a larger income in my first play through because I found it a little absurd that no merchant could afford to buy any of the lovely daedric and ebony items I had exhaustingly uncovered in my travels.
Obviously the extra cash flow has the potential to be abused for powergaming purposes and thus the Morrowind economy is easily manipulated and brought down. But we can still willfully roleplay to use it sparingly.

Let us know if you track down that legendary mudcrab merchant, Drazzminius, because in all of my three times through the game, I still never managed to track down the elusive bugger!

Maybe I'll take your happily spoilerish directions and take a look around in my current game, Firestormalpha.

Spoilerish? Well, Maybe a little. But with all the tiny islands in the area, he's still not easy to find. Even if you know exactly which island he's on he's still not easy to spot.

He never really ventured too far in my games, but i found that placing a trail of lanterns from the mainland made finding his hiding spot a little easier.

I think I always killed that Crab, cos I kind of fired destruction spells at them on sight.
